Same flat bill. A pull request at the end of it.

One flat workspace price, unlimited members whether they file bugs or fix them, and your first 5 fixes are on us. Jira stays where it is, and GitHub joins it.

Why teams move to Snag

The invoice is not the argument this time, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest: IssueCapture and Snag both charge a flat monthly fee with unlimited team members, so nobody is escaping a seat count by moving. What changes is what the fee is metered on. An IssueCapture plan buys a number of issues a month; a Snag plan buys a number of fix-runs, because the expensive part of this loop is the agent, not the ticket. The second change is the destination. The IssueCapture tracker support is Jira Cloud, and a team whose code review lives in GitHub ends up carrying the report across by hand. Snag writes to both, and the ticket links back to the replay, the console and the network that produced it.

What carries over

The install shape does not change: one snippet on the page, nothing for the person filing the report to sign up for, and no seat to buy for them. The Jira connection is an OAuth consent that a workspace admin gives once, the same mechanism IssueCapture uses, and the fields still map onto your own project. What arrives on the other side is richer rather than different — the annotated screenshot and the environment details you already get, plus a session replay recorded at the moment somebody files, with personal data masked in the browser before anything uploads — inputs are never recorded.

What you give up

Three things run the other way, and they are worth saying out loud. The IssueCapture AI layer is broader than ours: triage by priority, urgency and ROI, smart summaries and auto-categorization, where Snag's triage is aimed at one question — is this worth a fix run. Filing from a phone is theirs too: IssueCapture supports mobile-browser capture with touch gestures on the annotation tools, where Snag is a web product. And if your team's position is that no session should ever be recorded, IssueCapture is built around that position and Snag is not.

How switching works

Nothing is imported, so this is a clean start rather than a migration. Setup runs to three steps: paste the embed snippet, verify the domain it may record on, and connect Jira or GitHub. Nobody needs an account to file a report, so there is no roster to re-invite and no per-person cost to plan around. From the first capture onward, fixes arrive as pull requests a person reviews; Snag never auto-merges, and the agent works only inside a disposable sandbox that is destroyed when the run ends.

Weighing the two head to head rather than switching? The Snag and IssueCapture comparison answers the questions people ask most.

Where these details come from

Every IssueCapture detail behind this page is sourced and dated on the page where we cite each IssueCapture claim — each claim links to the IssueCapture page we read it on, with the date we read it. Something out of date? Email admin@dvcllc.io and we will fix it.
