Jam's recordings are excellent and we'll say so plainly. Two things go to Jam rather than Snag: integrations breadth — Snag is Jira and GitHub today — and iOS capture, where Snag is web only. If either matters more to your team than the fix, Jam is the better pick.

How switching works

Snag imports nothing from Jam, so a switch is a clean start rather than a migration. Setup is the embed snippet, a verified domain, and Jira or GitHub connected — reporters need no account and no seat. After that, fixes arrive as pull requests a person reviews; Snag never auto-merges, and the agent works only inside a disposable sandbox that is destroyed when the run ends.
